The information in soil landscape reports is based on examination of soil and landscape facts. This work is not intended to be prescriptive or judgmental but to serve as a tool for helping individuals, groups and the community achieve wise land management.

For certain soil landscapes, specific soil and land management recommendations to sustain or increase land capability are provided. Recommendations apply to current or impending land uses and are based on current knowledge and identified soil and land limitations.

Information on planning and implementing landscape-specific and other recommendations for soil conservation and sustainable land use are available from the Department.
