Physical Features

The small coastal settlement of Potato Point is located south of Lake Brunderee. Potato Creek passes through Lake Brunderee before entering the ocean at the southern end of Potato Beach alongside Potato Point. Typical depth varies from 1 to 2 m.

General

  • The lake is a major habitat for swans and chestnut teal, and provides important drought refuge.
