Physical Features

One of a series of lakes located along a 13 km stretch of coast immediately south of Narooma, which have been subjected to extensive infilling from marine sands. Corunna Lake, unlike the other smaller waterways, has steeply sloping foreshores, and a relatively uniform water depth of 3 to 4 m, upstream of a long shallow entrance channel.

  • Corunna Lake is a well known speedboat racing area - cruising is also popular given the scenic qualities of its deep and extensive arms.
  • Parts of the northern shores of Corunna Lake are part of Eurobodalla National Park.
