The Salinity Targets Supplementary Paper (PDF 1042KB) describes the history of the use of salinity targets in NSW, the role targets play in salinity management, the links between the Murray-Darling Basin and national salinity strategies, and a summary of the technical terms and concepts.
The Discussion Paper: Offsets, salinity and native vegetation examines how the negative impacts of clearing native vegetation might be offset by separate actions with positive impacts. Offset actions include improving the management of existing native vegetation, restoring or regenerating an area of degraded vegetation, or revegetating a previously cleared area.
