IMEF in action
Here are some photos of IMEF in action. IMEF involves DNR staff across NSW sampling various ecological habitats including wetlands, rivers, weir pools, stony beds and others for various indicators of ecological health. Indicators include algae, macroinvertebrates, plants, fish, birds, biofilms, zooplankton, chemical properties of water (carbon levels, oxygen etc) and many others. These photos show some of the IMEF activities:
