Available water determinations
Available Water Determinations are made by the Minister for Water under the Water Management Act 2000 and determine the volume of water available for extraction for the various categories and subcategories of access licences in relation to those water sources covered by water sharing plans throughout the State. The new water year commenced on 1 July 2008.

The Water Management Act 2000 also requires that a register of Available Water Determination's (AWD) to be made publicly available to water users. View the Available Water Determinations Register.
